In Charnwood Borough, Charnwood Green Party and Loughborough Green party fielded 19 candidates, more candidate then either UKIP or the Liberal Democrats. we saw our share of the vote increase substantially where we stood and had an absoultly stunning vicory in East Goscote. Congratulations to councillor Laurie Needham who won with 60% of the vote after a lot of hard work standing up for the people of East Goscote.

In Blaby teh Green party ran a record breaking 8 candidates and Kirsteen Thomson won a seat in Muxloe ward, on a strong message oon the need to improove air quality.
